United Marine Underwriters' Classic Car program provides coverage for the newer exotic vehicles to the older antique vehicles, including coverage for Classic Cars, Collectible Cars, Exotic Cars, Street Rods, Custom and Kit Cars.

Antique Autos - For vehicles 25 model years and older.

Classic Autos - For vehicles 20-24 model years.

Collectible Cars- For vehicles 15-19 model years.

Exotic Cars - For vehicles newer than 15 years and considered to be appreciating in value.

Street Rods - For vehicles made before 1949, which have been mechanically and/or cosmetically altered.

Custom Cars - For vehicles made since 1949, which have been mechanically and/or cosmetically altered.

Kit Cars - For vehicles built from purchased packages and assembled by an experienced professional, manufacturer or dealer.

Coverages

Our Classic Car programs offer all the standard coverages you expect including Physical Damage to the vehicle, Bodily Injury and Property Damage liability, Uninsured Motorist, Medical Payments, and Personal Injury Protection (No-Fault).

Additional Coverages

In addition to the basic coverages, our policies offer the following:

Agreed Value: We agree in advance on the value of your car. This benefits you because your car can be worth more than the depreciated value listed in a price book. We’ll work with you to determine your car’s value and in the event of a total loss, you will be paid the agreed value amount.

Spare Parts: We can provide up to $500 protection if your spare parts and accessories are destroyed or lost.

Towing and Labor Costs: This coverage pays to tow your car to a repair facility and if a professional can fix it where the breakdown occurred, this coverage will pay for the labor.

Mileage Plans: Our programs offer flexible driving plans for limits of 1,000, 3,000 and 6,000 annual miles. We also offer Trip Allowance coverage which allows you to take a trip without counting the miles toward your annual mileage limit.

Safety Glass: If damage to your windshield requires its replacement, and there is no other damage to your vehicle, our policies will waive the normal deductible.

Newly Acquired: Add to your collection and our policies automatically cover the new car for a set number of days until you add it to your policy.

Premium Discounts

Our programs offer multiple deductible options to help save you premium dollars. We also have credits for Car Club memberships, Mature Drivers, Accident Prevention Courses, Anti-Theft Devices, Passive Restraints, Anti-Lock Brakes, Defensive Drivers, Good Drivers and Daytime Running Lights. Discounts vary by state.
