United Marine Underwriters Messaging Program Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to the United Marine Underwriters (“we,” “us,” or “our”) messaging program. By opting in, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

This program is designed to provide important, non-marketing policy and account-related communications to insureds and applicants.
Messages may include, but are not limited to:
- Requests for additional information to complete a quote (e.g., boating resume, boat care details)
- Policy renewal reminders and notifications
- Login authentication codes
- Payment reminders and requests for ongoing payments
- Alerts for bounced or expired payment methods
- Requests for required policy documentation
2. Opt-In
By providing your mobile phone number and opting into our messaging program, you consent to receive SMS and/or MMS messages from us.
You may opt in by:
- Submitting a quote form or purchase form which includes online consent authorization
- Providing verbal consent to a United Marine Underwriters representative
3. Message Frequency and Charges
Message frequency varies based on your account activity and policy status, but typically will not exceed 10 messages per month.
Standard message and data rates may apply, as determined by your wireless carrier.

4. Opt-Out
You may opt out of the messaging program at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us.
After you send the STOP message, we will send you a confirmation message to verify you have been unsubscribed.
You will not receive additional messages unless you re-subscribe.

Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most major U.S. carriers.
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Changes to Terms

United Marine Underwriters is not liable for any delays, failures, or errors in message delivery or performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control,
including but not limited to network outages, carrier issues, natural disasters, or technical malfunctions.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
