Children's Life Jackets - Idaho

In the state of Idaho, anyone under the age of 14, is required to wear a U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket while underway on a boat which is 19 feet or less in length.

The USCG also requires the life vest to be in good working condition and fit the child properly.

It is the primary responsibility of the parent to ensure their children are protected and wearing life jackets. But your boat insurance company will still expect the USCG and state regulations to be followed.
