Children's Life Jackets - Nevada

In the state of Nevada, children under the age of 13, are required to wear a U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket or life vest when onboard a boat of any length.

Life vests and life jackets are to be in good condition and fit the child properly at all times.

While parents are aware of the necessity of their children wearing life jackets or life vests; the USCG and your boat insurance company will expect you to comply with the Nevada state boating safety regulations.
